Airbrush Tanning is done with a solution of DHA, a 3-carbon sugar (approved by the FDA in 1973 for cosmetic use). When applied to the skin, it causes a gentle reaction with your body's natural amino acids, giving you a healthy-golden tan. It is safe for all ages and skin types. If you have any skin disorders or become pregnant, consult your doctor first. How long does an Airbrush Tan last? It can last 7 to 10 days, depending on how you care for your skin. Your consultant will advise the proper home care for a longer lasting beautiful tan. How often should I tan? First establish a good base tan to get the color you want. Then, you should tan once a week to maintain your tan. For a good base tan, we recommend 2 to 3 applications in a row. How long does it take to apply? The actual application takes about 10 minutes. You will start to notice color in the first hour and it will be fully developed in 4 to 5 hours. What do I wear for the application? Wear whatever you would normally wear to tan or go to the beach. Any overspray that comes in contact with your clothing will wash out. Be sure to have long hair in a clip or ponytail. Now that I'm tan how do I keep it? Your tan should commonly last 7 to 10 days with proper moisturizing, avoid body scrubs and rough exfoliation. We recommend a maintenance application every 4 to 6 days to retain your beautiful tan week after week. Your tanning consultant will advise home care for a longer lasting tan. How much does it cost? Each tanning application is $15.00 to $35.00 purchased individually. Should I do any preparation before I tan? 1. Take a shower and exfoliate dry skin layer 2. Polish nails with clear or colored polish to prevent coloring the nail bed 3. Bring in a shower cap or hair clip to hold your hair 4. Bring loose fitting clothes with no elastic or clinging fabric to wear after your tanning application. 5.
